ブドウリーフピアス

葡萄の棚に鳥が啄みに訪れる――我が家の秋の風景からインスピレーションを得て製作したシリーズです。毎年繰り返されるその情景は、季節の移ろいを感じさせる大切なひとときでもあります。

葡萄に使用しているガラスパールは、ひと粒ひと粒を職人が手作業で仕上げたもの。バーナーワークで溶かしたガラスを巻いて作られており、直径わずか2mm前後という極小サイズを生み出す繊細な技術は驚くべきものです。個体差から生まれる揺らぎが、それぞれに独特で可愛らしい表情を添えています。

こうして連ねたパールが小さな葡萄の房となり、まるで葡萄の枝をそのまま耳に飾ったような、愛らしく詩的なデザインに仕上がっています。

This series was inspired by a familiar autumn scene at my home: birds visiting the grapevine to peck at its fruit. A fleeting sight that returns each year, it beautifully captures the passage of the seasons.

The glass pearls used for the grapes are individually handcrafted by artisans. Formed through the delicate technique of lampworking—winding molten glass around a core—each pearl measures only about 2mm. The precision required to create such tiny pearls is remarkable, and the natural variations give them a charming, one-of-a-kind expression.

Strung together, the pearls form small grape clusters, creating a design that looks as if you are adorning your ears with a graceful branch of grapes—both poetic and endearingly unique.
