葡萄の棚に鳥が啄みに訪れる――そんな我が家の秋の風景からインスピレーションを得て生まれたシリーズです。毎年繰り返されるその情景は、季節の移ろいを感じさせる大切なひとときでもあります。
葡萄に使用しているガラスパールは、ひと粒ひと粒を職人が手作業で仕上げたもの。バーナーワークで溶かしたガラスを巻いて成形され、直径わずか2mm前後という極小サイズを生み出す繊細な技術は驚くべきものです。個体差から生まれる揺らぎが、それぞれに独特で可愛らしい表情を添えています。
こうして連ねたパールが小さな葡萄の房となり、まるで葡萄の枝をそのまま耳に飾ったような、愛らしくも詩的なデザインに仕上がりました。自然の一瞬をそのまま閉じ込めたような、特別なアクセサリーです。
budou long earring
This series was inspired by an autumn scene at my home—birds visiting the grapevine to peck at its fruit. A sight that returns year after year, it is a cherished moment that reflects the gentle passing of the seasons.
The grapes are formed from tiny glass pearls, each one individually handcrafted by artisans. Created through the delicate technique of lampworking—winding molten glass into form—these pearls measure only about 2mm in size. The remarkable precision required to produce them is astonishing, and the natural variations give each pearl its own unique and endearing expression.
Strung together, the pearls form a miniature cluster of grapes, creating a design that feels as if you are adorning your ears with a graceful branch—poetic, charming, and evocative of nature itself. A fleeting moment of the natural world, captured in jewelry.
