Yukiyanagi (thunberg spiraea)

Thunberg spiraea est un arbuste qui donne plein de petites fleurs blanches.
Son nom japonais "Yukiyanagi", dont "Yuki" veut dire la neige, est nommé par ces rameaux couverts de fleurs blanches qui font penser à la neige.

C'est au printemps que cet arbuste fleurit, mais la neige sur ces rameaux m’a fait pensé à ces fleurs et m'a donné l'idée de créer cette série.

À la création des pièces, j'ai choisi deux sortes de très petites perles pour rendre le style délicat et doux.
J'ai fait beaucoup de recherches afin de trouver la composition des perles pour réaliser la texture neigeuse.


Thunberg spiraea is a shrub that gives lots of small white flowers.
Its Japanese name "Yukiyanagi", of which "Yuki" means snow, is named by these twigs covered with white flowers that make you think of snow.

It is in the spring that this shrub flowers, but the snow on these branches made me think of these flowers and gave me the idea to create this series.

When creating the pieces, I chose two kinds of very small pearls to make the style delicate and soft.
I did a lot of research to find the composition of the beads to achieve the snowy texture.

ユキヤナギ

雪柳の和名は、小さな白い花が無数に咲く様子が
雪をまとったような姿に見えることからつけられたそうです。

ユキヤナギは春に咲く花なのですが、新雪が枝に積もった姿を見て
まるで花が咲いているように感じた事から完成したシリーズです。


繊細で優しいデザインに仕上げたかったので、２種類の極小のビーズを使用し
雪のようにふわふわとした質感を作り上げています。
雪のように見えるようにビーズの編み方や配置にとてもこだわりました。
