アンティークのスフレガラスパールを使用したネックレスです。

「スフレ」とはフランス語で「ふくらんだ」を意味し、中が空洞になった繊細な吹きガラスのビーズです。1900年頃から1930年頃までの短い期間にフランスで作られ、オートクチュールドレスの縫い付け材料としても使われていました。製法は伝わっておらず、現代では作ることのできない貴重なアンティークパーツです。

スフレガラスの魅力は軽さと色褪せしないこと。光にかざすと吹きガラス独特のテクスチャーが現れ、100年前の作り手の空気感を感じられる特別な高揚感があります。

“Soufflé” means “inflated” in French, referring to the hollow, delicate blown-glass beads. Produced in France between circa 1900 and 1930, they were even used for haute couture dress embellishments. The technique is no longer known, making these pearls exceptionally rare and precious.

Soufflé glass is lightweight and colorfast, and when held to the light, its unique blown-glass texture becomes visible, evoking the atmosphere of artisans from over 100 years ago.
