「スフレ」とはフランス語で「ふくらんだ」を意味し、中が空洞になった繊細な吹きガラスのビーズを指します。1900年頃から1930年頃までの短い期間にフランスで製作され、オートクチュールドレスの縫い付け素材として用いられていた記録が残っています。製法は現在では伝わっておらず、現代では作ることのできない貴重なアンティークパーツです。
スフレガラスの魅力は、その軽やかさと優しい質感。光にかざすと、吹きガラス特有のテクスチャーが浮かび上がり、100年前の作り手の息づかいが感じられるような特別な高揚感をもたらします。

“Soufflé,” meaning “inflated” in French, refers to delicate hollow blown-glass beads. They were produced in France for a brief period between around 1900 and 1930, and historical records show they were used as embellishments for haute couture dresses. The original technique has not been preserved, making these beads rare antique components that can no longer be reproduced today.
The beauty of soufflé glass lies in its lightness and tender texture. When held to the light, the unique character of the blown glass emerges, evoking the atmosphere of artisans from over a century ago.

昔、フランスで作られていたスフレガラスや、手作業で作られたガラスフラワーなど、今では作られていない貴重なパーツを全てのシリーズに使っています。
スフレガラスの作り方は独自のもので公開はされていないのですが、中が空洞になっているとても繊細なガラスビーズです。
ガラスフラワーもバーナーワークで手作業で作られているのですが、一つ一つの細工が細かくとても美しい仕上がりとなりました。

雨の間と書いて「あまあい」と読みます。
制作の間、アトリエの周りは雨の季節でした。
この時期は植物が力強く成長する時期です。
雨が降るたびに緑が深くなっていくようで、私はこの時期がとても好きです。
雨の降る窓からの景色や、雨間に見られる、水に濡れた景色がとても美しいです。
とても貴重なヴィンテージパーツを使用し、とても美しいコレクションに仕上がりました。
The seasonal theme for the Spring/Summer 2024 collection is “Ama-ai”.It is written as Ame-no-ma and read as Ama-ai.During the production, it was raining around the atelier.This is the time when plants grow vigorously.It seems like the green gets deeper every time it rains.I like this time of year very much.The view from the window when it's rainingThe wet scenery that can be seen during the rain is very beautiful.With very precious vintage parts.The result is a very beautiful collection.
