葡萄の棚に鳥が啄みに訪れる――我が家の秋の風景からインスピレーションを受けて製作したシリーズです。毎年繰り返されるその情景は、季節の移ろいを感じさせる大切なひとときでもあります。
葡萄に使用しているガラスパールは、ひと粒ひと粒を職人が手作業で仕上げたもの。バーナーワークで溶かしたガラスを巻いて作られており、直径わずか2mm前後という極小サイズを生み出す繊細な技術は驚くべきものです。個体差から生まれる揺らぎが、それぞれに独特で可愛らしい表情を添えています。
こうして連ねたパールが小さな葡萄の房となり、まるで葡萄の枝をそのまま耳に飾ったような、愛らしく詩的なデザインに仕上がっています。さらに、ヴィンテージの鳥モチーフに小さなビジューを添え、葉っぱのモチーフをあしらった繊細なつくりで、自然のワンシーンをそのまま切り取ったかのような世界観を宿しています。
This series was inspired by a familiar autumn scene at my home: birds visiting the grapevine to peck at its fruit. A fleeting sight that returns year after year, it evokes the gentle beauty of seasonal change.
The grapes are formed from tiny glass pearls, each one individually handcrafted by artisans. Created through the delicate technique of lampworking—winding molten glass around a core—these pearls measure only about 2mm in size. The remarkable precision required to make such minute beads gives them their charm, while the natural variations lend each one a uniquely endearing expression.
Strung together, the pearls form small grape clusters, creating a design that feels as though you are adorning your ears with a graceful branch of grapes—poetic and full of character. A vintage bird motif set with tiny bijoux and accented with delicate leaf charms completes the piece, capturing a moment of nature as if frozen in time.
