スフレガラスバロックパールピアス
アンティークのスフレガラスパールを使用したピアスです。
パールのサイズは12mmで程よく存在感があり、スフレガラス特有の光が肌色を柔らかく映し、肌馴染みの良い質感です。
「スフレ」とはフランス語で「ふくらんだ」を意味し、中が空洞になった繊細な吹きガラスのビーズです。1900年頃から1930年頃までの短い期間にフランスで作られ、オートクチュールドレスの縫い付け材料としても使用されていました。製法は伝わっておらず、現代では作ることのできない貴重なアンティークパーツです。
スフレガラスの魅力は軽さと色褪せしないこと。光にかざすと吹きガラス独特のテクスチャーが現れ、100年前の作り手の空気感を感じられる特別な高揚感があります。
古いものには物語が宿っており、大切にしたくなる魅力が詰まったピアスです。

These earrings feature antique soufflé glass pearls, each measuring 12mm, offering a subtle yet striking presence. The unique glow of the soufflé glass softly reflects the skin, creating a natural and flattering look.
“Soufflé” means “inflated” in French, referring to the hollow, delicate blown-glass beads. Produced in France between circa 1900 and 1930, they were even used for haute couture dress embellishments. The technique is no longer known, making these antique pearls exceptionally rare and precious.
Soufflé glass is lightweight and colorfast, and when held to the light, its distinctive blown-glass texture becomes visible, evoking the craftsmanship of artisans from over 100 years ago.
Each piece carries a story, making these earrings truly special.

2024年秋冬コレクションのテーマは薄氷です。
薄い氷と書いて薄氷と読みます。
昨年の冬はとても暖かい冬で、雪が積もっては消え積もっては消え。
その合間に雪解けの水や薄く張った氷の美しさに、とても目を奪われました。
朝木の枝についた水のしずくや氷のしずくが、指で触っただけですぐに溶けてしまうような薄い氷が本当に美しく、そんな儚い美しさに触れて完成した新しいコレクションです。
今回、メインで使用したパーツの一つにスフレガラスがあります。
スフレとはフランス語で膨らんだを意味して、中が空洞になっている繊細な吹きガラスのビーズです。
記録では、1900年頃から1930年頃までの短い期間にフランスで作られていた、と残っています。
オートクチュールドレスの縫い付け用の材料として用いられていたようです。
製法が伝えられてないため、今ではもう作ることができず、貴重なヴィンテージというよりかはアンティークのパーツになっています。
スフレガラスに光を当てると吹きガラスのテクスチャーが現れます。
見ていただくと、ちょっと透けているのかわかるかと思うのですが、スフレガラスのいいところはとても軽いところ、あとは直接そのガラスに顔料が練り込まれているので色が剥げてしまったり変色してしまうという心配がないところです。
それもとにかく、軽さを追求して作られたパーツなので、顔料の上に吹きガラスの上に重ねることで重さが出ないようにという工夫が伺えます。
500年前の作り手の空気感が伝わるようで何とも言えない、高揚感を感じます。
古いものはそれだけで物語があるようでとても私は大切に感じます。

The theme of the Fall/Winter 2024 collection is “USURAI”.It is written as thin ice and read as“USURAI”.
This winter has been a very warm winter, and the snow has been piling up and disappearing.Then,I was captivated by the beauty of the melting snow and the thin layer of ice.The drops of water and ice on the branches of morning trees are so thin that they melt instantly when you touch them with your fingers, and they are truly beautiful.This new collection was created by touching on such fleeting beauty.One of the main parts I used this time was a soufflé glass.Soufflé means swollen in French and is a delicate blown glass bead that is hollow inside.Records show that it was made in France during a short period from around 1900 to around 1930.There are records that it was used as a sewing material for haute couture dresses.Since the manufacturing method has not been passed down, it is no longer possible to make them, making them more of an antique part than a valuable vintage item.When you shine light on the soufflé glass, the texture of blown glass appears.If you look at it, you'll probably notice that it's a little transparent, but the good thing about soufflé glass is that it's very light, and the pigments are kneaded directly into the glass, so the color won't peel off. You don't have to worry about it changing color.It's a part that was made with the pursuit of lightness, so you can see that the pigment was layered on top of the blown glass to keep it from adding weight.It seems to convey the atmosphere of the makers 500 years ago, and I feel an indescribable sense of elation.Old things seem to have stories of their own, so I feel they are very important.
